Information on Coronavirus


Due to the Coronavirus pandemic Public Health England has advised the practice to cease all routine treatment. The surgery will only providing triage advice from 9:00AM to 4:00PM.

Please do not visit us unannounced at the practice, instead contact us  by telephone to discuss your dental problem.

The area team are working to set up the local urgent dental care hubs and we will advise as soon as we know where and when these are set up and running. The delay in the set up of these is due to difficulties obtaining the PPE.

We are not sure how long this will be for but we will provide constant updates on our website. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in these difficult times, stay safe.

Symptoms of Coronavirus

The coronavirus symptoms are:

  • A cough
  • A high temperature
  • Shortness of breath

But these symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness.

The symptoms are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as cold and flu.

If You Think You have the Coronavirus

If you think you might have coronavirus or you've been in close contact with someone who has it:

  • Stay at home and avoid close contact with other people
  • Contact the surgery to cancel or rearrange your appointment
  • Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital
  • Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service to find out what to do next

The 111 coronavirus service will tell you if you need to continue to stay at home (self-isolate) or if you need medical help.
